    I was born in 1956, and I live in Great Oporto. I have a degree in History and a PhD in Biology. I was a university professor between 1991 and 2022 and am currently retired.

    I have dedicated myself to landscape photography since the 1980s.

    I use analogue and digital systems, both in black-and-white and in colour. I am currently involved in a photographic survey of Portugal’s Tras os Montes and Alto Douro districts.
