I’m that crazy photographer that you could find laying in the sand, on a beach, photographing a sunrise when its 20 degrees out with a wind chill of zero, desperately trying to keep the sand out of my face while avoiding frostbite to my fingers. You may even see me walking out into the water up to my hips around Orient Point to get past the rocks during high tide so I can get to the end. I may even climb those rocks if I have to. I might not even be someplace I should in the middle of the night but I don’t care.
I’m not going to say that I specialize in one type of photography because I love it all! Whatever you want to categorize me as works for me – landscapes, seascapes, nature, wildlife or starry night skies are what I love to capture.
I’m my most true self when I am outdoors crawling, climbing, laying in dirt or wading out into water to capture something amazing with a different perspective that makes me feel like I am right there in the moment again when I see them.
