I like pictures of Michael Kenna in regions such as Hokkaido Island in Japan. I wanted to take pictures of snowy landscapes, but I could not travel to Hokkaido, so I looked for a region near my home that could have some snowy landscapes.
It was the end of winter, so I looked at the weather reports. I saw that the Black Forest, in Baden Wurtemberg, about 300 km. far from my home, expected some "bad weather" with snowfall. I went to that region and spent some days there.
