My wife has family in England, and we have visited there four times now. The second to last trip was in 1995, though, and she wanted to go again in 2019, which we did from late April to early May. We went to places from London to Wales to Scotland during our other trips. This time, she wanted to see the south coast. I had gotten a book on photography in Dorset, Devon, and Cornwall and worked up a number of nice locations to fill a week and a half, following some time in London again.
We then moved on to Stonehenge and Dorset, following the coast into Devon. Our first stop there was Sidmouth. The next morning, we went out for sunrise at Ladram Bay. A path went along the cliffs there, but you couldn't see out just anywhere you wanted to. I had allowed for some scouting time, and we found a pretty good place to view the cliffs and rock stacks toward the sunrise.
