This photo was taken from a boat while touring the Na Pali Coast of Kauai, Hawaii. The L16 camera is pointed NorthWest toward Japan, or maybe Vladivostok, across the big blue pacific ocean. The dynamic sky, combined with the utter minimalism of an empty ocean, was the inspiration for the photograph. While there is always a lot to see on the Na Pali Coast, recording the distance and remoteness of the opposite point of view somehow felt right. Enjoy.
