I have been making images since the 1970s with Kodachrome and Ektachrome. I have shot just about every genre of photography from weddings, senior portraits, products and so on.
When I realized that making money in photography wasn’t the most important thing, I decided to concentrate on landscape photography. Landscapes have always been where my heart is. If I never made a dime with landscapes, they will still be what I will photograph, as long as I can physically do it. I love finding new locations and researching often photographed locations. I always strive to find an interesting angle that hasn’t been tried before.
I have been an outdoors type of person since I can remember; hunting, fishing, camping and so on. I love being out in God’s creation and recording an instant in time of his handwork.
Black and white photography is to me the more artistic form of photography, but most of the pictures I see that excite my inner being are captured in color.
