Lake Malären is the third-biggest lake in Sweden and is home to a significant number of ospreys. To photograph them, I went out on a small boat. We left the little harbour just before sunrise.

After a short while, we encountered the first osprey. Because of the early hour, the light of dawn was visible in the bird's wings, especially when the osprey started hovering.
