I left home in the dark on a February morning, hoping to find some fog at sunrise in the rural farmlands of Florida, about 20 miles from where I've lived in Cape Coral for the last 38 years. Sure enough, my headlights revealed some patches of fog as I drove out of town. Growing up in the Pacific Northwest state of Oregon, I love the pre-dawn light on a foggy morning.
I was looking for horses or cows in the fog, but when I saw the large Live Oak trees standing in an open pasture, I turned the car around and went back to capture the scene. I set up my tripod and composed this scene as the sun was beginning to light up the fog.
