Randall J Hodges
For more than twenty years, I have worked as a full-time professional photographer, capturing images of the western United States and Canada. Much of my work stems from hiking and backpacking in the remote wilderness areas of the West. My work has been published over 5,150 times worldwide in books, magazines, calendars, greeting cards, postcards, newspapers, and more. It appears in esteemed publications such as National Geographic, Landscape Photography Magazine, and various other magazines. Additionally, my work has been showcased in numerous galleries and art exhibitions throughout the West. I do not alter my work in any way. I consider myself an ‘All-in-Camera Shooter’ because I take the time to wait for the right light and colour, employing ‘Old School Techniques’ instead of post-processing to capture my remarkable images. Only the smallest adjustments are made to ensure that the finished print closely matches the back of the camera. I own the Randall J. Hodges Photography Gallery in downtown Edmonds, Washington, as well as the Images of the West by Randall J. Hodges Gallery in the beautiful Cannon Beach, Oregon.
