I started making pictures in 1975, when I was 14 years old, with my first camera, a Canon FT. In 1980, I held my only collective exhibition in Lima, Peru, and in 1985, I worked as a photographer for an important weekly magazine in Peru. After one year, I decided to continue my business studies and realised that photography would be a hobby and not a way of making a living. This year, it will be 50 years since I became an amateur photographer.
