Picture Story

A couple of friends and I visited Reelfoot Lake State Park in northwestern Tennessee to shoot Bald Eagles. The weather on our first full day was not eagle shooting weather to say the least! But, when life hands you lemons, or in this case fog, you make the best of it. We spent our first day shooting Bald Cypress trees instead. Fog has the added effect of deadening sound so, other than the sound of waves gently lapping the shoreline, it was nearly silent adding to the ghostly look of these trees in the fog.
