I spent a week in Kauai in December 2017. On one of the mornings, I was at Kauapea Beach for sunrise and was not disappointed. It was a warm morning where waiting for sunrise was peaceful from the sounds of the waves lapping softly against the shoreline.

In the distance, the iconic Kilauea Lighthouse stands perched on top of the rocky cliffs as it overlooks the ocean. Once the sun rose above the horizon, the beach was bathed in a brilliant golden glow and the lighthouse was radiant as its white silhouette was illuminated by the warm sunshine.
