I am a landscape photographer and a hiking/backpacking guide for Joshua Tree National Park. I offer one-on-one and small group workshops, as well as online mentoring.
I have been passionate about photography since I first picked up a camera at the age of 14. Over the years, I have honed my craft, blending technical precision with creative expression. As a former aerospace engineer, I appreciate both the technical and artistic aspects of photography, and I bring that balance to every shoot.
When I am not behind the camera or leading landscape photography workshops, I am often hiking or volunteering with organizations that support our wilderness, such as the Joshua Tree National Park Association’s Desert Institute. I firmly believe that photographers have a responsibility to protect the environments we capture, ensuring that future generations can enjoy these landscapes as much as we do.
