Not many will choose to spend their holidays on the Mediterranean seashore in October, even though it is a perfect season for migrating birds, as well as gorgeous sunrises and sunsets.
So, every morning I woke up at 6 AM and walked to the nearby beach and wetlands to watch the first sun rays set the low cloud layer ablaze. Every passing minute rewarded me with new, breathtaking lights. That was a perfect way to start a holiday.
