Stranded on an island
Having spent a week on the Greek island of Santorini, I was saddened to hear that my return flight was cancelled 4 hours before take off. I managed to book a flight to Athens on the same night, spend the following day with family and get the next flight from Athens the following morning. It was an expensive way to see family for a few hours, but I should not complain. My thoughts go to all those people who were on the same flight who must have struggled to find a way to get back home, as there are very few flights directly from Santorini to Edinburgh.

Our latest assignment – Moody Weather – was very successful. We received many more entries than usual, and for that, we owe you a big thank you.
Unfortunately, we can only publish a certain number of pictures in each issue. We have done our best to be fair to all and choose a good number of representative images to display in the next issue of the magazine.
However, I need to assure you that many more good pictures you uploaded for the Moody Weather assignment will be forwarded to future issues for publication in various sections of the magazine.
