Frequently we receive emails from members asking if their uploaded pictures were published on the website. The problem here is one word, filters.
As soon as an uploaded picture is published on the website as a post, an action takes place, which sends the post author (the member who uploaded the picture) a notification email.
The problem is that email companies add certain filters that prevent our email notifications from reaching your inbox and are sent to your spam folder instead.
From experience, I know that many people never check their spam folder, believing everything in there is spam, which is inaccurate.
So, when in doubt, check your spam folder content, look for our emails and mark them as non-spam.
Our emails look like this:
Title: Your feature has been published
Hi [your first name] Your feature has been published. You can view it here: [permalink] –––
If you are a Gold or Platinum member, the picture will be displayed on the website for 60 days.
If you are a VIP member, the picture will be attached to your Portfolio Page and will be available for public viewing forever. It will also be shared via our social media platforms.
