I photograph landscapes primarily around Lake County and DuPage County, areas north and west of Chicago. I am a big believer that you don’t need to travel to 'exotic' locations to create great landscape photography. My work has been directly influenced and shaped by many photographers, including Ansel Adams, Eugene Atget, Harry Callahan, Eliot Porter, Paul Strand and Edward Weston. In the Chicago area I have been fortunate to learn directly from master photographer Will Clay.
