I have spent most of my adult life residing in the western United States, if for no other reason than to be near the landscapes and wildlife that I so wished to photograph.
The enjoyment of being in nature and having the opportunity to capture those fleeting moments when subject, light, and personal vision come together; these moments are wonderful to witness and impossible to create.
Putting in the work and then being there as it happens is its own reward. And as my experiences have taught me, nothing compares with standing behind my camera in the wild!
