I was on a birthday trip/vacation with my wife in South Germany. One of the days, we asked the hotel receptionist for a recommendation for a day trip in the area. We wanted to see a nice waterfall, and the lady at the hotel suggested a place we should go.
On our way, we passed a small town named after the lake adjacent to it—Schliersee. It was a morning, and the lake was still covered by low clouds and fog when we suddenly noticed this small island in the middle of it reflecting beautifully and separated from its surroundings due to the fog.
Of course, we stopped there to walk along the shore, enjoy the amazing view, and take some photos.
