This was taken a few years ago during an autumn visit to the Lake District. It involved a walk circumnavigating the lake. The light was perfect for reflections, and conditions were very still—ideal for this type of image. The image was taken handheld.
I particularly liked the fact that the sky had some definition or cloud, which became part of the reflection, too. The blues worked well, as blues are opposite on the colour wheel.
I have revisited a few times since and have not been as fortunate with the conditions, although the lakes always have great scenes to portray.
