As fans of Monet's paintings, my wife and I visited Giverny after seeing Monet's Lily Pad paintings in L'Orangerie Musée in Paris. The gardens in Giverny were fabulous, and the lily pad pond was spectacular, with colours and reflections everywhere.
This photo shows the pond, lily pads and surrounding flowers, with Monet's house in the background. It is one of several I took that day; but I like it best because of the glimpse of Monet's house in the background. The reflections are somewhat muted, but add some mystique to this photo.
