In late December 2017, I was enroute moving from my usual winter grounds in Arizona to Florida in my new Lance travel trailer. My route would take me to Missouri my home state in order to get the travel trailer registered.
As I approached Holloman Lake where I was going to camp overnight, a deer decided to collide with me necessitating some repairs to the travel trailer. Fortunately, a quality RV repair shop was 10 miles away. A delay in getting the repair parts would force me to stay at Holloman Lake for 21 days.
Holloman lake is just outside of Holloman Air Force Base, and allows camping free of charge so that worked out ok. On the evening of January 2nd, 2018 I was able to capture this brilliant reflection at sunset that you are enjoying.
