I was doing a fall colors photography trip in the Leavenworth area. It was a foggy morning, and I knew the fog would create a very nice scene on Lake Wenatchee. I immediately drove directly to Lake Wenatchee State Park. The fog was exactly what I was expecting; however, the fog covered the mountain top when I first got there.
I waited a bit and finally the fog clear up on the top of the mountain and the wind was at the minimum, with that condition the mountain and the island casted a nice reflection on the lake, I really like how the fog created the separation between the mountain and the little island, plus all the rocks line up very nicely as well, I captured this shot in the 2:3 format, but when I was doing the post production, I realized the 16x9 format would display the scene so much better.
