I was driving through northern Yellowstone National Park in a snowstorm during February, looking for wildlife. I was hoping to capture images of bison in their harsh winter environment.

As I rounded a curve, I saw a small group of bison approaching on the snow-covered road. I stopped, leaned out the car window, and captured this image before the bison trudged by my car.
