This was my second day at this location, hoping for a decent sunrise. Up at “stupid o’clock” to hike up to this viewpoint.
A tiny bit of ground mist started to form but disappeared as the light and temperature slowly increased. This image was taken 30 minutes before sunrise; when the sun finally appeared, it flooded the Alp with lovely light, but the pre-dawn colors had faded, so I used the colorful image. Another 30 minutes and the light was too harsh.
A long way to go for a few images, but worth it for the joy of watching this wonderful location slowly reveal itself.
