Whilst on a morning walk in my local valley, I noticed a Scots pine tree engulfed in the mist. As I walked along, I realised the old slate wall would make a good leading line towards the distant tree.
This image was taken in an area known for its enormous slate quarries, making the slate wall a key aspect of the photo and the culture. It shows a typical winter scene in mountainous Wales with dense mist and cold blue colours.
