“Happy Valley” (Cwm Maethlon) is midway between Tywyn, Aberdovey, and Machynlleth. The valley is steep-sided and farmed by sheep farmers. The hillside has these old forests on it.
This wintry scene was taken on private land, a farm halfway down the valley. You can see the bracken-covered slope in the background. In the spring, primulas and bluebells appear in the undergrowth.
