Sea daffodil is a marvellous bulbous plant found throughout the Mediterranean Basin along the seacoast. The leaves often die back during the hot summer, when the white flowers appear and call our attention. We can admire the plant all along the Portuguese sandy coast.

I saw it a few days ago during a stunning sunset. With the camera mounted on a tripod, two shots—one focused on the plant and the other on the sun—were blended to form the image shown here.
