Another hobby that I have, beyond photography, is rock collecting. In 2024, my wife and I visited Tucson, Arizona, in late January for the Tucson Rock and Mineral Show, the largest one in the country. While we were in town, we also spent some time sightseeing.
One place that we visited was Saguaro National Park. We had been there a couple of decades before, when it was a National Monument. It is likely one of the best places you can go to experience the classic Sonoran Desert that Tucson is known for. I chose this shot for its depiction of a wide variety of the local desert flora.
