Sinyoto Lake ("The Blue Lake" in Bulgarian) is located in the central Rila Mountains at an altitude of 2420 meters above sea level. It is part of the group of four Karaomerichki glacial lakes, all located in the Canary section of Middle Rila at an altitude of 2325 to 2420 meters. It offers a wonderful panoramic view of the peaks of Pavlev, Karaalanitsa, Aladzhasap and Angelov Vrah. The photo was taken at sunset in late summer when narrow-leaved willow (Chamerion angustifolium) can be found along its banks.
