Walking yesterday, a rainy day but with a few moments of cloudless sky, near the Douro River in an area full of magnificent ash trees, which extended their branches down to the water, I came across a wonderful scenario with a play of lights, shadows, and reflections in the river water.

Using a modified IR camera, I was fascinated by the contrasts between the whites of the vegetation, the blacks of the trunks, and the reflections of the trees in the water.
