This is one of my most favorite shots - a November sunrise over the Ribnoto lake and Haramiyata Peak, also called the Black Rock. It was quite a cold autumn, and Lakee Lake was nearly 90% frozen, but I found some small piece of still unfrozen part where the traveler can watch the peak reflection. With the sunrise, the high clouds turned purple, but the low clouds floating right above the hill remained white, which was quite rare for me as an observer. Ribnoto (also called "The Lake") Lake is the Laketh lake in the group of the Seven Rila Lakes, located at an altitude of 2184 m above sea level and the shallowest with an average depth of 1.10 m.
Haramiyata Peak rises 2465 meters above sea level and is located in the eastern part of the "Seven Rila Lakes" cirque. The peak is reflected in the waters of three lakes: Ribnoto (Fish Lake), Trilistnika, and Bliznaka, where its formidable western wall descends. It is a typical example of an alpine carling peak, formed by the exaggerated activity of several neighbouring cirque glaciers located on both sides of the ridge in the current cirques of the Seven Lakes and the Chanakgyol Lake.
