It was March 12th, 2024. The weather was unusually warm, the snow and ice had melted days earlier. The sky was a vibrant shade of dark blue with big puffy clouds slowly making their way across the sky.

It was very calm, no breeze at all. The sun would come out and then hide again amongst the clouds. I had just walked from the spillway, heading down the trail to the peninsulas edge.

I stood at the shoreline, looking all around me. I had a 360-degree view. At that moment, a goose had taken off from the beach area to my right. I positioned my tripod to capture the goose. When suddenly the sun popped out of the clouds.

The sight before me was so serene. The water was so calm that it acted like a mirror. The reflection appeared in the water as if I was standing on a gigantic mirror.
