I started taking photographs after 2000, when digital cameras became affordable. The digital approach has also meant that with software like Lightroom, I have much greater control over the final image. Although the modern trend is to display images digitally, I believe they should be printed for a full impact. I do not set out with the intention of capturing a specific image; instead, I prefer to wander and see where the mood takes me. My favourite scenes include mountains and water, particularly in Scotland and Wales.
