I learned the basics of photography in high school classes. My photography was mostly limited to family snapshots until circa 2001, when, due to a series of life events, I became more serious about photography. It was my primary creative outlet while I continued to work as a physician. Now that I am retired from medicine, I have much more time to pursue my passion.

We are lucky enough to live in the great Pacific Northwest, which offers an endless number of photographic opportunities. That said, I have also been able to travel to some amazing places for photographic adventures.
