João Paulo Cabral was born in 1956. He has a degree in History and a PhD in Biology. University professor between 1991 and 2022, he is currently retired. He lives in Great Oporto. He published three books: “PORTUGAL. Forty landscapes - photos & commentary”, “Poesia de António Cabral. Diálogo com fotografia de João B. Cabral e João P. Cabral” and “O Porto visto por – Porto through the eyes of – João B. Cabral & João P. Cabral”. He currently works on the book: “Japanese poetry in dialogue with João P. Cabral photography”.
