I was born and raised in New York City and work throughout North America. I’m drawn to places that feel self-contained—strong, restrained, and indifferent to being seen. The work is personal: each image is a kind of self-portrait, shaped by what I notice and what I return to, again and again. I have been making photographs for decades, and the work has gradually narrowed toward quiet landscapes with presence.
