I live in Ireland in the town of Fermoy in County Cork near the Blackwater River, which in the 19th century was sometimes called ‘The Irish Rhine.’ I am lucky in this area to have many woods and a river which is ever changing and always beautiful no matter the weather and where I love most to photograph!

My work is driven by light, mood and capturing special moments, I look for simplicity and colour. I enjoy the quietness of nature, strolling and sitting on the riverbank, or in a woodland, listening and watching, and waiting for the moment when something happens that catches my eye.
