Joshua Tree National Park offers a myriad of opportunities from dawn to twilight, as well as night skies for astrophotography. Finding a composition, however, can be challenging at times!
I was searching for the right spot when I spotted this fallen Yucca tree. It provided the perfect frame for the setting sun. I was post-processing the image and noticed a “defect” in the sun’s position. In fact, however, it was a distant Yucca tree that remained clearly visible, which I thought worked as an exclamation point for this sunset scene!
