A sliver of the Mt. Kailash range glows in the last light of the day. I recall that we were strolling by the shores of the lake when we came upon this unforgettable scene. I had noticed earlier that a squall was developing on the distant horizon, which must have thrown the rainbow into the mix. Moments like this happen in nature when you are least expecting them.
