Stirling Falls, Milford Sound, New Zealand

Aperture

Shutter

ISO

This picture was taken from the back of a boat, with spray from the falls soaking me thoroughly. I was wiping my lens pretty much constantly. A fast shutter speed was used to capture the motion of the boat, and the ISO was increased slightly, as it was late afternoon.

I aimed to capture the ferocity of the falls and the tessellations in the water, so I focused on the bottom section of the falls.
