The Redwood forest is arguably the most spectacular forest in the world. When the coastal fog drifts in, it creates unparalleled conditions, especially when the sun breaks through and causes rays of light to illuminate the scene and shoot through the forest.
This particular scene does not have those dramatic elements, though, but it really spoke to me in a way I can’t fully explain. The light mist created a sense of depth, and I really liked the way the surrounding branches and foliage framed the scene in a pleasing way. This scene truly embodied the spirit and mystique of this place and left a lasting impression on me.
