We associate autumn with the yellow and brown foliage of trees and the fallen leaves on the ground, like golden carpets that enchant us. That was the scene I witnessed a few days ago, while walking along the Alviela River, on a magnificent autumn afternoon with the sun shining in the sky.
The river, with little flow due to the extreme drought that has affected the country in recent months, ran slowly to my left. The trees, still with some yellowed leaves, intensely illuminated by the sun, reflected in the placid waters of the river. The ground was covered with fallen leaves.
The use of a low shutter speed emphasized the calmness of the scenario. What an enchanting scene!
