When I’m living the “vanlife” at Alafia State Park in Florida—in the Hillsborough area during the winter months—I take the opportunity to head over to Edward Medard Conservation Park to snap some photographs. The sunrises and sunsets are sublime, and there is an incredible array of wildlife, including birds of prey and waterfowl, alongside other local residents like alligators, armadillos, and more.
I love spending time here—whether for just a few hours or an entire day. The park is expansive and offers a variety of vantage points, depending on what you’re looking for.
