I captured and merged this shot using auto exposure bracketing (AEB) on my drone at Taiping Lake in Huangshan. Known for its gorgeous views and calm waters, it’s one of my favorite go-to getaway spots.
On this summer evening, the setting sun cast a golden glow across the water, creating an incredible play of colors. Right at that moment, a boat cut across the lake, leaving a perfect curved wake that leads your eye straight toward the sunset. Since the dynamic range was so extreme, bracketing was essential to keep all the highlight and shadow details intact.
