At 4,250 meters, Pangong Tso is one of Asia’s largest brackish lakes, spanning 130 km across the India–China border. It’s a 6-hour drive from Leh through Ladakh’s scenic countryside and Changla, the third-highest motorable pass.

Despite Leh’s short summer, the lake looks magical under clear skies, drawing millions of tourists annually. I took this long-exposure shot in the evening after the day-trippers had left, making it the perfect time for solitude seekers to experience this renowned paradise.
