I was standing there and heard a noise. I looked back and saw these two falling from the sky, almost hitting the brim of my hat. They hit the ground hard. I was so close I couldn’t focus the camera on them. I thought, “Boy, how I would love to capture this fight!” Then they flew up off the ground and went back at it—and click.
I was amazed when I pulled up the photo and saw that one had taken its foot and locked the other one’s beak. Wow.
