I won a solo tour with Glacial Adventures in Iceland, and our focus was the Highlands of Southern Iceland and droning. I took some of the best pictures of my life on this tour.
We would spend 8-10 hours a day driving through the rough, dirt, rocky, muddy, water-covered “roads” all over the Highlands. Iceland is truly the land of fire and ice and extremes. The leading lines of this shot are looking at a dust storm in the distance that is not easily visible. We were dealing with very high winds this day as well, but every bump, drop of rain, and grain of dust was worth the effort it took to experience this magical place.
