This shot was taken as part of a trip to South Africa to celebrate the wedding of my soon-to-be brother-in-law. The wedding was great, and so were some of the shots I got in South Africa, at least from my perspective.
I liked this photo not only from an aesthetic standpoint; there seems to be a real symmetry in it. I also love it because it shows a real-life process in nature: the trying out of the “tools of the trade” by two young elephants. It was almost like seeing two young aspiring sumo wrestlers playing around to see what they could bring to the table.
