We love waterfalls! We spent four days in West Virginia to specifically photograph waterfalls. We focused on the New River Gorge National Park and Preserve and the surrounding area. This is a newer and lesser-known national park that consists of about 70,000 acres mostly along the New River. Dunloup Falls are located just off State Route 25/ Thurmond Road within the park and are just a few steps off the road.
After getting some good images of the falls face on, I was looking for something a little more creative. While moving around some of the boulders, I came upon this perspective where I could see a fairly good sliver of the falls through the boulders.
